Fish attractants are a general term for fish attractants and fish food promoters. If fish additives are scientifically classified, then attractants and food promoters are two categories of fish additives.
What we usually refer to as fish attractants is fish feeding enhancers Fish meal enhancers are divided into quick acting fish meal enhancers and chronic fish meal enhancers. They can also be divided into taste improving meal enhancers, hunger enhancers, and excitement enhancers. We will compare and analyze the feeding effects of several mainstream freshwater fish attractants separately.
1、 Betaine.
Betaine is an alkaloid mainly extracted from sugar beet molasses, which can be used as an additive in fish feed to replace methionine and choline in methyl supply, improve production performance, and reduce feed costs. Betaine can stimulate the sense of smell and taste in fish and is a chronic fish attractant. When added to fish feed, it can increase fish intake, shorten feeding time, reduce feed efficiency, and promote fish growth.
2、 DMPT (Dimethyl - β - Propionate Thiophene).
DMPT is a chronic fish attractant, mainly used to be added to fish feed, slowly increasing the feeding amount and frequency of fish, and improving their growth rate. Its attractant effect is better than betaine. Many anglers have used DMPT, but the effect is not significant because it is a chronic fish attractant that requires long-term addition to take effect and is not suitable for fishing. Fishing requires quick acting attractants, and the requirements for the effect are "short, flat, and fast".
3、 Dopamine salt.
Dopa salt is a hunger hormone in freshwater fish that can stimulate the taste buds of fish and transmit it to the central nervous system through afferent nerves, causing strong hunger in fish. Dopa salt is a fast acting fish food promoter and also a hunger promoter. After scientific testing, it has been found that adding 3 milliliters of dopamine salt per kilogram of bait is the most effective way to promote feeding when fishing for carp; When fishing for crucian carp, adding 5 milliliters of dopa salt per kilogram of bait has the best hunger promoting effect.
4、 Fish Afa.
Fish alpha is a fish stimulant, which is a substance that can enhance the molecular activity of fish cells. Fish alpha has a high affinity for fish cell receptors, which can enhance their intrinsic activity and produce maximum effects by binding to receptors. After the fish become excited, they will be full of vitality and have a strong impulse to feed. Fish Alpha is a fast acting fish stimulant, so it belongs to both excitatory and fast acting fish food stimulants.
