TMAO’s usage as a functional enhancer for fertilizers

TMAO, Trimethylamine-N-Oxide Dihydrate

CAS NO.:62637-93-8

Natural active organic compounds, with weak oxidizing properties, without residues, easily soluble in water, can regulate the physiological functions of plant cells, improve the application effect of fertilizers, and enhance the stress resistance of crops.

TMAO

1. Nutrient Stabilizing Agent:

TMAO serve as a chelating agent and stabilizer for amino acids, humic acid, and trace element fertilizers, protecting the active ingredients from decomposition and enhancing nutrient stability and crop absorption efficiency.
2. Bio-fertilizer/Organic Fertilizer Additive:

Used in the production of ecological fertilizers such as bio-organic fertilizers and earthworm manure, it optimizes soil microenvironments, promotes the proliferation and activity of beneficial soil microorganisms, accelerates compost maturation, and comprehensively enhances fertilizer quality.

3. Root Growth Promoter:

Indirectly regulates soil osmotic pressure, improves the microenvironment for root growth, promotes robust root development in crops, enhances nutrient and water absorption capacity of the root system, and achieves vigorous root growth and strong plant vigor.

TMAO-Functional additives for new types of fertilizers
III. Applicable Fertilizer Types
It can be added to various high-end functional fertilizers such as amino acid-containing water-soluble fertilizers, humic acid-containing water-soluble fertilizers, bio-organic fertilizers, compound microbial fertilizers, soil conditioners, functional compound fertilizers, foliar fertilizers, and flush fertilizers, adapting to a wide range of fertilizer production formulations.
IV. Applicable Crops and Scenarios
Scientific research has verified its broad applicability to various crops, including forage grasses, tomatoes, wheat, corn, a wide range of vegetables, fruit trees, and medicinal herbs;

Focus on adapting to scenarios such as arid and semi-arid regions, saline-alkali land cultivation zones, early spring low temperatures prone to frost damage, emergency cultivation during dry seasons, and high-temperature stress planting.
V. Usage Instructions
(1) Fertilizer Production and Application (Precise Recommendation Ratio)
As a functional raw material for compound addition, it can be directly incorporated into the production process of conventional fertilizers by thorough mixing. The recommended addition ratios for different fertilizer categories are as follows:

1. Amino acid/humic acid water-soluble fertilizer, functional foliar fertilizer: Recommended addition rate 0.1%-0.3% (1-3kg per ton of fertilizer)

2. Bio-organic fertilizer, compound microbial fertilizer: Recommended addition rate 0.2%-0.4% (2-4kg / ton of fertilizer)

3. Soil Conditioner, Functional Compound Fertilizer: Recommended addition rate 0.15%-0.35% (1.5-3.5 kg per ton of fertilizer)

4. Earthworm manure and animal-based organic fertilizers: Recommended addition rate of 0.25%-0.45% (2.5-4.5 kg per ton of fertilizer)

(2) Direct field application by spraying
1. Recommended spray concentration: 5-10 mmol/L for foliar application, can be applied alone or mixed with water-soluble fertilizers and foliar fertilizers;

2. Application Period: It can be applied during the seedling stage, growth stage, and before stress conditions (such as drought, low temperature, or early-stage salinity-alkalinity stress) occur;

3. Application method: Spray evenly on both sides of the crop leaves, ensuring the leaves are moist but not dripping.

VI. Incompatibilities

This product has weak oxidizing properties and must not be directly mixed or compounded with highly reducing additives or strong antioxidants to avoid deactivation and loss of efficacy of active ingredients.
